Our Heritage
As the great grandson of a carpenter, from 1900 to 1948, a time when you contracted a person not a company to build your home, he knew of the love people had for the charming cottages of the 1920s to the 1940s. So armed with a book on "Honor Built Homes", kit homes marketed thru Sears, Roebuck and Company and fourteen years as a custom home builder, J. Thomas Custom Homes Inc. started Thomas Heritage Homes.
Our Owner
Thomas Heritage Homes is building homes in parts of Collin, Grayson, Cooke, Denton and Wise counties and as a division of J. Thomas Custom Homes Inc., has been a member of the Greater Dallas Association of Home Builders since the mid-1990s. As the owner and site supervisor, Jay Thomas has been the vice president and president of the Denton Division of the Dallas HBA and continues to serve on the Dallas Board of Directors.
